Work That Never Ends
"Hey Mom," I yelled, running up the stairs. "What?" she mumbled, sipping her coffee. "I'm going to be at Amanda's house today, okay?" I said. "Whatever." she grumbled. I dashed down the stairs, and threw on a simple black t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. Just for a little fun, I place a black and white striped hat on my head. I sighed, and realized I didn't have much time, so I ran up the stairs, and out the door. Once I was outside, I breathed in the wonderful fresh air. Soon, I would be free, free of the world. I smiled slightly, and took off.

I groaned. Sleeping in sounded like a delicacy at this point. I can't even remember the last time I actually did.
"SEVATI! GET YOUR BUTT UP HERE!!!"
I sighed, and dashed up the stairs. "There you are." My mom said, annoyed-of course. She flipped her bleach blond hair behind her shoulder. "Yes, Mother?" I asked as politely as I could. "Don't be sarcastic to me!" She snapped, even though there had not been any sarcasm in my voice. I stopped myself from sighing, "Go get the newspaper.
